Flown to Renfrew on 300649 for loading on HMS Ocean for shipment to the Far East. Noted on charge with the Far East Air Force, RAF Seletar, Singapore, on 250849. Station HQ, RAF Kai Tak, Hong Kong on 031050. With 80 Sq as 'W2-A' on 050951. Damaged in an accident at the end of the year, requiring major repairs. 80 Sq 'W2-M' (...) To Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force on 130552. Noted flying during Queen's birthday flypast on 210455; last official flight by HKAAF F.24's. Placed in store at Kai Tak on 310755 SOC 300955. Relegated to ground instructional duties; Maintenance serial 7326M allocated on 100456. Put on display at Kai Tak in 0456. Noted on display at Kai Tak in silver overall c/s with black anti-glare panel (1960s). Returned to the UK in 0789 onboard Cathay Pacific B747. To IWM Duxford for display. Last noted in AirSpace on 120718.
